Position Requirements: Candidate must be able to support rotating 12 hour shifts (days, evenings, nights) on regular days, weekends and holidays.

Candidate must possess an active TS/SCI Clearance with FS Poly.

NO CCA Candidates will be considered.

Candidate must possess the following skills:
• LINUX or UNIX administration/maintenance experience useful
• Some knowledge of SIGINT systems useful
• Some knowledge of SIGINT dataflows useful
• Ability to perform in a team environment

Candidates possessing system administration and/or network engineering backgrounds will be considered if they have the above skillset.

Candidate should possess a BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalant technical degree (CS, CE, EE, Math, or Physics degree).

Within the last year, a minimum of 1 year experience in at least one (1) of the specializations listed in Table C.

I. Signal Analysis: Individual shall have analysis experience with modern digital/optical telecommunications systems, to include Bell, CEPT, or SDH/PDH digital communications signals and the payload data within these signal structures. Individual shall have analysis experience with randomization, forward error correction and performing bit-level analysis of computer communications protocols. Shall be able to generate analysis reports.

II. Modern Tele-communications System and Networks: Individual shall have experience in modern digital telecommunications systems and protocols, to include: Optical Transport Network (OTN) Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM), Synchronous Optical Networks (SONET), SDH and PDH, LAN/WAN Networks, IP Networks, and ATM switches. The individual shall have experience in the study, design, exploitation, or implementation of communication networks with these technologies.

III. Telephony Switching System: Individual shall have experience in telephony switching system networks, to include normalization and mapping. This experience shall be in switching systems and dialing standards most commonly used in today's international networks and telephony systems. Shall be able to generate component/system specifications as well as identify solutions.

IV. Communications Systems: Individual shall have experience in internet communications. This experience shall be with metadata, protocols, addressing, and routing of today's internet and computer systems.

V. Cellular/Personal Communications Systems: Individual shall have experience in studying, designing, developing, exploiting, and/or testing components or systems that modulate or demodulate mobile cellular/personal communications systems. Individual shall have experience with the various standards associated with these 2G/3G/4G systems. Individual shall have experience with the cellular communication processes to include frequency reuse, cell splitting, self-location, paging, call initiation, hand-off, and roaming.

VI. TDM/PCM Multiplexing / Modulation /Switching Systems: Individual shall have experience in designing, developing, and/or testing components or systems that modulate, demodulate, multiplex and/or demultiplex conventional Bell, CEPT, or SDH/PDH/OTN digital communications signals. Individual shall have experience with the various standards associated with these systems.

VII. Packet Switching System: Individual shall have experience in packet switching system networks. This experience shall be in switching systems and packet protocols most commonly used in today's international networks. Shall be able to generate component/system specifications as well as identify solutions.

VIII. Systems Engineering: Individual shall have experience designing and developing large-scale systems, containing multiple subsystems and requiring integration with external systems. This experience shall focus on all aspects of acquisition, requirements definition, system design, development, and training. The individual shall have experience in basic SIGINT technology as well as integrating, installing, configuring, changing, and optimizing HW & SW solutions into an overall system architecture.

IX. Operating Systems: Individual shall have experience identifying, communicating, and troubleshooting system problems caused either by the operating system or the operating system/application interaction on UNIX variant operating systems to include primarily LINUX and SOLARIS.

X. Advanced Protocols: Individual shall have experience in Advanced Protocols, to include Open Transport Network (OTN), Automatically Switched Optical Network (ASON), Session Internet Protocol (SIP), and Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS).

Position Responsibilities:
Perform full lifecycle support to the customer on complex data systems and networks.

Provide solutions to the customer applying expertise with systems engineering and networks/components to support.

Provide technical guidance to the customer in relation to SIGINT systems.

Required Qualifications:
•UNITED STATES CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED. THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ACTIVE TOP SECRET/SCI WITH POLYGRAPH CLEARANCE.

•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other degree related technical discipline and/or 1+ years of related experience (see qual sheet).

•LINUX or UNIX administration/maintenance experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

•Knowledge of SIGINT systems and SIGINT dataflows.

•Self- motivated, creative, willing to work as a member of a team, organized and able to manage individual schedule.

•Ability to work in a dynamic environment and non-standard hours when needed.
